Liposuction and Body Contouring
We remove stubborn local fat that does not respond to diet and exercise using fine cannulas to refine body contours; it is not a weight-loss method.

Liposuction removes fat that collects in certain areas and does not respond to diet and exercise. It is not a weight-loss or obesity treatment; results are more harmonious in people close to their ideal weight with good skin elasticity.
Which areas?
The abdomen, waist, back, hips, inner and outer thighs, arms, under the chin and inner knees are the most common. The total amount of fat that can be removed in one session is limited for safety.
Fat transfer
The removed fat can be processed and transferred to the face, buttocks or breasts. Part of the transferred fat is absorbed by the body, so a second session may be needed.
Risks
Swelling, bruising, temporary numbness, skin irregularities, fluid collection and, rarely, more serious circulation problems can occur. Risks are assessed together with the amount of fat to be removed and your general health.
Timeline
Consultation
Fat distribution, skin elasticity and weight are assessed; we discuss whether liposuction or skin tightening is needed.
Day of surgery
Fat is removed with fine cannulas through incisions of a few millimetres, placed in natural folds.
First week
A compression garment is worn day and night; walking is encouraged.
First month
The garment stays on for 4–6 weeks; light exercise resumes in week three.
Third month
Swelling has largely settled; the new contours show.
Six months
Final check-up; keeping a stable weight keeps the result.
